Ballard
Seattle's original Scandinavian community is still full of classic historic charm thanks to the likes of the Nordic Heritage Museum and the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, but now with a hip business district, condos and affordable homes, Ballard has been revitalized into one of the hottest neighborhoods in town.
The always hip Ballard Ave and NW Market St brim over with swanky restaurants, independent boutiques and salons.
